️⃣ Preheat & Prep – Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving overhang for easy removal.
️⃣ Mix Dry Ingredients – In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Set aside.
️⃣ Mash & Mix Wet Ingredients – In a large bowl, mash bananas until smooth. Add melted butter, both sugars, eggs, and vanilla. Whisk until glossy and well combined.
️⃣ Combine – Gradually fold dry ingredients into wet ingredients, mixing just until combined. Overmixing = dense bars! Fold in most chocolate chips, reserving some for topping.
️⃣ Bake – Pour batter into the prepared pan, spreading evenly. Sprinkle remaining chocolate chips on top. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
️⃣ Cool & Serve – Let bars cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then lift out using parchment paper and cool completely before slicing.
