Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 12 oz linguine or spaghetti
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 5 garlic cloves minced
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes
  • ½ cup dry white wine Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio
  • ¼ cup fresh lemon juice
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley chopped
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Grated Parmesan for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Cook pasta until al dente, reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
  • Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Sauté garlic and red pepper flakes until fragrant (1 minute).
  • Add shrimp in a single layer and cook for 2 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
  • Pour white wine into the skillet, scraping up browned bits. Simmer until reduced by half.
  • Stir in lemon juice, zest, and parsley.
  • Return shrimp to the pan, toss in cooked pasta, and add pasta water if needed for consistency.
  • Garnish with Parmesan and extra parsley. Serve immediately.
