Ingredients
  

  • 3 medium oranges peeled and segmented
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest
  • 1 frozen banana
  • ½ cup vanilla Greek yogurt
  • ¼ cup milk of choice
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream optional but recommended
  • 1-2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • teaspoon orange extract optional
  • Optional Add-ins: Vanilla protein powder flaxseed, ice cubes

Instructions
 

  • Prepare oranges: Zest 1 teaspoon of orange zest, then peel and segment the oranges, removing seeds and membrane.
  • Blend base ingredients: Add oranges, frozen banana, yogurt, milk, and cream to a blender. Pulse, then blend until smooth.
  • Add flavorings & adjust: Add zest, vanilla extract, and honey. Blend again, taste, and adjust sweetness or consistency.
  • Serve: Pour into chilled glasses, garnish with orange slices or zest, and enjoy!

Notes

  • Dairy-Free? Use coconut yogurt and almond or oat milk.
  • Sweeter Option? Add more honey/maple syrup or use extra ripe bananas.
  • Frostier Texture? Add ice cubes or freeze some of the oranges beforehand.
  • Make it a Meal? Add protein powder or nut butter for extra nutrition.
