Ingredients
  

🔹 For the Panbread:

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp instant yeast
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp honey

🔹 For the Crunchy Chicken:

  • 2 large chicken breasts
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying

🔹 For the Special Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp sriracha
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp lime juice

Instructions
 

1️⃣ Prepare the Panbread Dough

  • In a large bowl, mix flour, salt, and yeast.
  • Make a well in the center and add warm water, olive oil, and honey.
  • Knead for 8-10 minutes until the dough is smooth and elastic.
  • Cover and let rise for 1 hour.

2️⃣ Prepare the Chicken

  • Butterfly the chicken breasts and pound them to an even thickness.
  • Set up a breading station:
  • Bowl 1: Seasoned flour
  • Bowl 2: Beaten eggs
  • Bowl 3: Panko breadcrumbs mixed with paprika and garlic powder

3️⃣ Create the Crunch

  • Dredge each chicken piece in flour, dip in eggs, then coat thoroughly with seasoned breadcrumbs.
  • Ensure an even, thick coating for extra crunch.

4️⃣ Fry to Golden Perfection

  • Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan to 375°F.
  • Fry the chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through (165°F internal temperature).

5️⃣ Cook the Panbread

  • Divide the dough into 4-6 portions.
  • Roll out each piece and cook in a hot skillet for 2-3 minutes per side until golden spots appear and fully cooked.

6️⃣ Assemble & Serve

  • Layer the crispy chicken onto the warm panbread.
  • Drizzle with special sauce.
  • Add toppings of choice (lettuce, tomatoes, pickles).
  • Fold or enjoy open-faced!

Notes

Make it Spicy: Add cayenne pepper to the breadcrumbs for an extra kick.
