Instructions
 

  • 1️⃣ Activate the Yeast: Mix warm milk (110-115°F) with yeast. Let sit for 5-7 minutes until frothy.
  • 2️⃣ Make the Dough: In a bowl, combine flour and salt. Add yeast mixture and olive oil. Mix until a soft dough forms. Knead for 8-10 minutes.
  • 3️⃣ First Rise: Place dough in an oiled bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm spot for 1 hour or until doubled.
  • 4️⃣ Prepare the Filling: Chop herbs, caramelize onions, and crumble cheese.
  • 5️⃣ Shape & Fill: Roll out dough, spread filling evenly, then roll tightly into a log. Cut into 1-inch pieces.
  • 6️⃣ Second Rise: Arrange rolls in a greased dish, cover, and let rise for 30 minutes.
  • 7️⃣ Bake: Preheat oven to 375°F. Brush with egg wash. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
